After School Fishing

Join our 8-week program, meeting once a week from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Monday to Thursday in April/May and Sept/Oct. Choose one day each week. There are 6 students per boat, with pickup at Trails End Boat Ramp or Wrightsville Beach Boat Ramp. Students experience seasonal changes and various fishing, crabbing, and clamming opportunities. It's rewarding to see their excitement for fishing and wildlife as they enjoy Masonboro Island. Many have participated for 2-3 years, and in our fourth year, we get to see how the program fosters fishing, boating skills, and independence.
